Convite para fazer parte do 2º volume do projeto “Grandes Nomes”, sobre a vida de artistas que, de uma forma ou de outra, tiveram alguma relação com a colagem nas suas obras.
O artista escolhido para eu trabalhar foi, justamente, um dos que mais tenho afinidade: Marcel Duchamp.
Com seus trabalhos do “ready-made”, que tinha como objetivo dar novas interpretações e novos sentidos a coisas já existentes, se tornou grande referência no meu processo de começar a ressignificar antigas imagens através da colagem.

Invite to be part of the 2nd edition of the “Grandes Nomes” project, about the lives of artists who had some relationship with collage in their works.
The artist chosen for me was one of those I have the greatest affinity: Marcel Duchamp.
With his “ready-made” works, which aimed to give new interpretations and new meanings to existing things, he became a great reference in my process of starting to re-signify old images through collage.
